trick or treat....
whenever i think of bizarre music i instantly think of trout mask replica. i dont know.... the whole album is (obviously) arranged with no formal musical training. the lead, van vliet, conducted his band like a cult, forcing them to play for several hour long sessions while providing melodies on a piano (an instrument he also did not know how to play). just fascinating stuff.
